Deming Workshop

IEHA a Divison of ISSA, ("IEHA," "we," "our") cares about your right to privacy. This policy explains how we intend to handle any personal identification information you provide to us online. Personal Identification information is information that enables us to identify you, for example, your email address, telephone number, company name, etc.

How We Collect and Use Personal Identification Information

Generally, we do not collect information that personally identifies individuals except when individuals knowingly and voluntarily provide this information to us. For example, we will gather information about individuals when they submit orders, post comments or make requests on this website.

If you submit an order or complete a purchase in our online store you will be required to submit verifiable and sufficient information such as a billing address, contact information and payment information. This personal identifying information is used to fulfill orders, general record keeping and legal purposes along with the content of your order. We use industry standard Secure Sockets Layersm (“SSL”) technology to allow for the encryption of orders placed on our website in order to protect your credit card and other personal information. For additional details about our security procedures please see the section entitled SECURITY COMMITMENT below.

Member Accounts

We permit valid IEHA member users to access their own member account for their personal use and/or for IEHA's own use. This also allows the member user's website experience to become more personalized. These accounts are assigned originally at the start of membership and the member can chose their own user name and password other than the one originally assigned during the set up process. The member system does retain credit card information if the member elects to do so, in an encrypted and secure fashion, for any member that submits their member dues via credit card (for ease of billing in the future). Members may elect to clear out their stored credit card information by signing into the IEHA Social portion of the website, visiting your Personal Settings page, and updating the credit card information with blank fields.

Electronic Mail

IEHA may retain the content of any email that IEHA receives, the email address from which it was sent, and our response. Content and other information in or related to emails sent by you to IEHA may be used as testimonials or for other marketing purposes.

IEHA will periodically use the personal identifying information in the form of email addresses, street addresses and telephone numbers to send promotional and informative content emails. We do not publish or sell your email or street address.

Cookies and Web Beacons

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive that contains information about the user. Our website does employ cookies however; these cookies will not be used to gain information from your hard drive.

Certain pages and/or promotional emails sent on the behalf of IEHA may contain Web Beacons-sometimes called single-pixel gifs- that allow us to count the number of visitors to a particular page. Some of these Web Beacons are utilized by a 3rd party service in order to determine the effectiveness of a promotion or to track the interest in an advertising campaign. These Web Beacons may place a continual cookie on your computer. This allows the service to identify the user each time you visit a certain page or to compile indistinctive information in relation to page views. These third parties are not permitted to use web beacons to collect personal information. However, we do not undertake to confirm, investigate, or police their practices.

We utilize IP addresses and web server log files, and information received through cookies and web beacons to track trends, user movement and gather demographic information.
