RESE (Registered Environmental Services Executive)

The Registered Environmental Services Executive designation may be attained by members or nonmembers by successfully completing the 11 modules contained within the Technical and Administrative Series, along with the 5 modules in the Managing for Effect Series from IEHA's PECP program at a cost of $1000.00 (Members Online) or $1200.00 (Non-Members Online) Candidates must also supply a copy of their Bachelors Degree, or higher along with their official college transcripts prior to scheduling their 100-question online proctored exam. Once enrolled, RESE candidates have 365 days to complete the program, or are assessed an $300 fee.

Renewal and Maintenance Requirements: Individuals who hold the designation of RESE are required to pay yearly RESE membership dues AND are required to physically renew their designation every two years. RESE members have the option of renewing their designation by submitting 30 hours of continuing education, or electing to retake the online proctored exam. If at any time a RESE member's dues lapse, or they do not renew their designation by CEU submittal or testing, regardless of paying the appropriate yearly dues, their designation is no longer valid. To reinstate the designation, RESE candidates must submit a reinstatement fee of $300, along with any additional applicable renewal requirements that previously were not met. See the IEHA education brochure for more detailed designation requirements.

  • Yearly renewal of their IEHA membership at the RESE designation holder rate of $200.
  • Renewal of the actual designation is required every two (2) years; designation holders have the option of submitting 30-hours of CEUs, or completing an online proctored exam.
