Job Opportunity

Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Development  is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Environmental Services Training & Quality Manager at Georgia Regional Hospital at Savannah (please visit www.garegionalsavannah.com for more information).

 

Job Description: In collaboration with the director, coordinates training and retraining of all staff. Conducts inspections of the facility to determine cleanliness. A formal documentation of findings will be done to measure technician performances and customer satisfaction. 

 

Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards:

1. Performs quality inspection throughout the facility to assist department manager in coordinating cleaning projects.

2. Coordinates quality improvement projects with department manager.

3. Responsible for customer satisfaction interviews.

4. Trains newly hired staff, including promoting safety and make every effort to create and maintain a safe and healthful environment and observes job performance.

5. Attends and actively participates in required meetings, classes/in-services and demonstrates proficiency with technology equipment and software.

6. Answers requests from units.

7. Valid State of Georgia Driver's License.

Qualifications: 

One year of experience at the level of a lead worker in the are of assignment. One year of experience at the lower level or position equivalent.

 

In addition to the qualifications listed above, preference will be given to those candidates who possess the following: Certification in Executive Housekeeping from the International Executive Housekeepers Association (www.ieha.org ). Knowledge of policies, 4-years experience in Environment Services delivery and related to Infection Control policies. Must have supervisory experience and training skills. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
