Bacon County Hospital Completes Renovation
Bacon County Hospital and Health System began a three phase construction project in July of 2008. This first phase was a second story patient care area consisting of a 4 room private ICU, a 4 room post-partum suite, and 17 private patient rooms. This phase was completed May 2009. The second phase of the project consisted of renovations and additions to the Diag
nostic Imaging Department, which now offers state of the art radiology services, including ultrasound with 4d capability, Digital Mammography, 64 Slice Toshiba Aquillion CT, 1.5 Tesla MRI, and Nuclear Medicine making this department totally digital, and the Laboratory Department which is also equipped with state of the art instrumentation. The third and final phase was the completion of two new state of the art Operation Room suites. This project was completed March 2010.
