I.E.H.A.'s Education Program

Education is the top priority at the International Executive Housekeepers Association, Inc. (I.E.H.A.).  Two special designations offered by I.E.H.A. provide recognition by your employer and peers when you reach education milestones.  They are R.E.H. and C.E.H. and each allow those who see your name to know you have reached milestones of achievement recognized by your professional peers.

In addition to R.E.H. and C.E.H., I.E.H.A. also offers continuing education for all members and nonmembers through its Self Study Program, I.E.H.A.-sponsored seminars and workshops.

Designation as R.E.H. or C.E.H.

R.E.H. (Registered Executive Housekeeper)

Registered Executive Housekeeper is the highest designation offered.   Members and nonmembers may attain it by completing a degree program with required courses designated by I.E.H.A.  This is called the collegiate program. Registered Executive Housekeepers in good standing may use the letters, R.E.H., following their names.  R.E.H. status is renewed every three years by examination.

Submit an official copy of your college transcript showing completion of the required courses along with a copy of your current resume.

Submit a $25.00 transcript review fee ($50.00 non-member).

C.E.H. (Certified Executive Housekeeper)

A person may attain Certified Executive Housekeeper status by fulfilling educational requirements through a certificate program, a Self-Study Program, or college hours equal to an Associate degree.
